Stylists from Great Clips and an auction of pink Waterloo hockey jerseys will provide the finale of the Black Hawks’ October breast cancer awareness fundraising effort this Friday when the Hawks host the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders at Young Arena.

From 4 p.m. until game time at 7 o’clock, staff from Great Clips will be providing free haircuts to fans making a donation to Beyond Pink TEAM. The “Clipping For a Cure” effort will take place in the arena lobby near the Domino’s Black Hawks Box Office. No appointment is necessary, and men, women, and children of all ages are invited to participate.

After the game concludes, the pink Black Hawks jerseys which the team has been wearing throughout the month of October – presented by Great Clips – will be sold during a live auction. Interested fans are encouraged to sign up for a bid number at the Express Employment Professional Fan Service Table. Beyond Pink TEAM will also receive profits from this auction.
