The City of Waterloo’s Code Enforcement Department will be working in designated quadrants during its Fall Clean Sweep.

During the next four weeks Code Enforcement officers will be ticketing any exterior code violations per the International Property Maintenance Code. Schedule is as follows:

Week of September 14th -- Northwest Quadrant

  • From Hwy 63/Cedar River and points north and west to City limits.

 

Week of September 21st -- Southwest Quadrant

  • From Hwy 63/Cedar River and points south and west to City limits.

 

Week of September 28th -- Northeast Quadrant

  • From Hwy 63/Cedar River and points north and east to city limits.

 

Week of October 5th -- Southeast Quadrant

  • From Hwy 63/Cedar River and points south and east to City limits.

Properties in violation of the International Property Maintenance Code will be cited. Property owners will have ten (10) days to abate citations before re-inspection and possible fines. Property owners may use the City’s large item pick-up service, yard waste dump site, or take items to the Blackhawk Landfill.
