Cedar Falls Police have made an arrest after a burglary investigation.

On Monday, March 28, 2016, Cedar Falls Police investigated a burglary that occurred at the Other Place, 4214 University Avenue. Entry was made by breaking a window. During the burglary alcohol and a set of keys were taken.

During the subsequent investigation, David Michael Cook, age, 26, who lives at 4117 University Avenue, room 231, confessed to committing the burglary. During the arrest marijuana was found in Cook’s room. Cook was taken into custody and charged with Burglary in the 3rd Degree, a Class D Felony; Criminal Mischief in the 2nd Degree, a Class D Felony; Possession of Marijuana, a Serious Misdemeanor; and Theft 3rd, an Aggravated Misdemeanor.

Cook has been transported to the Black Hawk County Jail for processing and he awaits his initial appearance.
