Cedar River Dam Deflation Begins October 27

On Thursday, October 27, 2016, the City of Waterloo will start the deflation of its downtown dam on the Cedar River.

This should be completed Friday, October 28th. The river level upstream from the dam will be shallower and boaters should take notice.

On the 28th and 29th, the Cedar Valley Paddlers will be moving mussels to deeper water due to the lower river levels.
