Cedar Falls Police Investigating Robbery

Cedar Falls police are searching for a suspect in a late-night robbery that occurred outside a local business. Around 11 p.m. Monday (April 28, 2014), officers were called to the parking lot of Goodwill Industries on University Avenue.

During their investigation, police learned that two victims had been approached by an unidentified man, who was wearing dark clothing and had his face covered.

The victims told police that the man pointed a handgun at them and demanded money. Police say the man took personal items from one of the victims during the robbery, then left the area.

The robbery remains under investigation.
