Fayette County authorities have arrested two people for allegedly breaking into an Arlington residence.
Shortly after 12:30pm Thursday (Dec. 29), the Fayette County Sheriff received a report of 2 subjects entering a home in Arlington, while the owners were away.

Investigating deputies found that 54 year old LaVern Dearborn of Surprize, Arizona and 54 year old Kimberly Bright of Arlington, had entered the house and removed several items.

Those items were recovered by officers.

Dearborn and Bright were arrested for Burglary in the Third Degree. Both were taken to the Fayette County jail, where it was discovered that Dearborn was in possession of a controlled substance; he was also charged with Bringing Contraband into a Jail.

If convicted, each charge carries up to a 5 year prison sentence.
