Friday (May 22, 2015) night's racing action at the Farley Speedway included a wide variety of race car classes and lots of wheel to wheel excitement on the smooth very racy 3/8 mile dirt track.

The headliner of the night was the 25 lap Klein Custom Homes IMCA Late Model feature event. Jeff Tharp led the race for the majority of the 25 laps after overtaking early leader Dave Stichter. A late race yellow set up a charge by Tyler Bruehning. The #16 of Bruehning shot to the low side of turn 2 as the leaders were coming to the white flag. The white flag lap was the first lap that Bruehning led on route to the win. Tharp ran second ahead of Luke Goedert.

The Precision Transmission IMCA Modifieds 20 lap feature saw Evansdale, Iowa’s JD Auringer lead flag to flag on Friday night. Matt Gansen was able to close on the leader but ran out of laps in settling for second ahead of Troy Cordes.

The GSI Collision Specialists IMCA Sportmods continue to delight the fans with plenty of side by side racing. Friday night’s main event win was a popular one as Troy Bauer was able to score a hard fought win over Kip Siems and Tyler Soppe.

Jerry Miles added another trophy to his collection by topping the IMCA Stock Car division. Miles took the checkers ahead of Norman Chesmore and Chris Luloff.

Erik McDonough took the win in the 15 lap IMCA Hobby Stock feature on Friday night. Point leader Quinton Miller came from the back of the field to take second at the finish line ahead of Brian Happel.

Making their first visit to the Farley Speedway for the 2015 season were the 2 man cruisers. The two man cruisers include a driver with control of the steering wheel and the brake and his co-pilot controls the throttle. The Manchester team of Randy VanDeVegte and Mike Stahlberg scored the 10 lap feature win, the 2 man cruisers will return on Friday, June 12th.

Brandon Maitland scored another feature victory on Friday night in the Micro Mods. Carson Less from Hopkinton took second.

Racing action will continue on Friday, May 29th at the Farley Speedway with hot laps at 7 pm and the first race will take the green at 7:30 pm.
