Bremer County Accident Sends One to the Hospital

An area man is being charged with causing a two-vehicle accident in Bremer County.

It happened just before 4:00 PM Tuesday (July 12) at the intersection of Highway 218 and County Road C-33, north of Waverly.

A car driven by Glade Parker of Floyd, rear-ended a car driven by Laureli Buehrer of Northwood.

Buehrer was taken to the Waverly hospital to be treated for minor injuries.

Parker was charged with failure to stop in an assured clear distance.

Waverly Ambulance and the Plainfield Fire Department assisted the Bremer County Sheriff at the scene.
