Bowl For Kids Sake Of Northeast Iowa Scores Big

Almost 200 participants took over Cadillac Lanes in Waterloo and the Waverly Bowl In in Waverly, Iowa for Bowl for Kids' Sake 2014. The event raised $50,000 to support one-to-one youth mentoring in Northeast Iowa.

For months, local companies, churches, families and friends have been forming their teams and raising money in support of Bowl for Kids' Sake and Big Brother Big Sisters.

We are definitely pleased with the funding that has come in with this event. But I would say we are just as pleased with the number of bowlers and teams that showed up in support of our mission," - Mile Lind, Executive Director of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Iowa.
