Body Found in Truck Parked at a Cedar Falls Cemetery

The Cedar Falls Police Department is investigating the discovery of a man's body in a truck at a cemetery.

At about 8am today (Wednesday), a work crew arrived at the Hillside Cemetery in Cedar Falls, located on East Lone Tree Road, to do some mowing. Workers checked out a truck that had been parked at the cemetery for an unknown amount of time, and found a man's body inside.

According to sources, the truck had been left parked at the cemetery since at least Tuesday afternoon.

There is no indication on a cause of death; the man's name has not been released.

Cedar Falls Police are handling the investigation.
