Body Found in Car in Fredericksburg

A man's body has been found in a car in Fredericksburg.

At about 6:30am Monday, the Chickasaw County Sheriff was alerted by a passer-by, who found the car parked on North Jackson Street, near Rose Hill cemetery.

The name of the dead man has not been released, however we do know the man is from Denver, Iowa.

No foul play is suspected, and an autopsy has been scheduled to determine the cause of death, as the investigation continues.
