Show business sometimes makes for some strange pairings, as Blake Shelton is finding out. We bet he never dreamed of working on a project with Vanilla Ice, not even in his wildest dreams.

Although it might be hard to fathom, Vanilla Ice is going to play Mark Twain in Adam Sandler's first movie for Netflix. ''Ridiculous 6'' is a parody of Westerns like ''The Magnificent Seven.''

Adam Sandler plays a man who grew up in a Native American tribe. Taylor Lautner, Rob Schneider and Luke Wilson are his half-brothers. Nick Nolte, Danny Trejo, Steve Buscemi, and Dan Aykroyd also star in the film.

So how does Shelton fit in? ‘The Voice‘ coach is said to be set for a role on ‘Ridiculous 6’. Shelton may play Wyatt Earp in the movie.

Sandler wrote the screenplay with longtime collaborator Tim Herlihy. It's all a part of a groundbreaking new deal between his Happy Madison production company and Netflix. Shooting is slated to begin in February. It is unclear what role Shelton will play in the film.
