Black Hawk County Accident Sends 4 to Hospital

A Dewar woman is being charged with causing a traffic accident in rural Black Hawk County, Sunday night.

It happened shortly after 9pm on North Raymond Road, near Dewar.

A car driven by 41 year old Natasha Packard turned left into the path of an oncoming car driven by 24 year old Robert Willingham of Bettendorf. Packard was attempting to enter a driveway.

Both drivers, as well as 2 passengers in Willingham's car, were taken to Allen Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Packard is being charged with failure to yield.

The Black Hawk County Sheriff's Office investigated.
