Slippery conditions was the cause of at least one accident this morning in Northeast Iowa.

Black Hawk County Sheriff Deputies responded to a rollover accident on Hwy 218 and Gresham Roads around 7:14 A.M.

On arrival Deputies located a 2007 Ford Ranger Pickup laying on its side in a field on the east side of the highway.  Investigation revealed the pickup was driven by Ms. Emily Cleveland, 24, of Waterloo.  She was traveling northbound on Hwy 218 when she lost control on the ice covered roadway.  As she entered the east ditch the vehicle rolled several times.

Ms. Cleveland had to be extricated from the vehicle by Janesville Fire personnel.  She was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.  Her condition has not been released.

Deputies were assisted at the scene by Janesville First Responders, Janesville Police, Cedar Falls Police, Iowa State Patrol, and Ray Mounts Wrecker.
