Benton County & Marshalltown Speedways Postpone Frostbuster

Officials have been forced to postponed the 2014 IMCA Frostbuster events for one week. The annual four-day swing of dirt track races will now be contested April 10-13, 2014. Officials were forced to push everything back one week due to cold and rainy weather this past week.

On Thursday, April 10, dirt track racing fans will hear the roar of engines fire to life at the Southern Iowa Speedway in Oskalossa. On Friday, the traveling dirt circus heads to the Marshalltown Speedway in Marshalltown. The Boone Speedway in Boone will host night three on Saturday, and the Benton County Speedway in Vinton close out the four-race affair on Sunday afternoon.

IMCA Modifieds serve as the headliner class during the four-day trek. Each night the best modified drivers the Midwest has to offer will battle for a $1,000 payday. Also racing each night: Stock Cars, Northern SportMods, & Hobby Stocks. All will compete under the IMCA banner.

IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Regional and Iowa State points will be awarded each night.
