Rian Johnson Shares a New ‘Star Wars: Episode 8’ Set Photo Featuring a Familiar Cloak
Rian Johnson has shared a few photos from the set of Star Wars: Episode VIII — nothing too revealing, of course, but as the director nears the end of production on the upcoming sequel, his latest photo offers something a little more intriguing. It’s not particularly revelatory, but the image does feature an article of clothing that looks mighty familiar.
Tom Cruise Returns in First ‘Jack Reacher: Never Go Back’ Photos
Christopher McQuarrie didn’t return to write and direct Jack Reacher: Never Go Back, but at least it’s because he’s working with Tom Cruise on a different sequel (Mission: Impossible 6). Still, a new Jack Reacher movie is something we can all look forward to, and the first photos from Never Go Back have arrived to get us properly pumped.
Dwayne Johnson Reveals First Look at ‘Twisted’ New Hobbs in ‘Fast 8’

Netflix to Officially Begin Streaming New Disney Films in September
Way back in 2012 (or at least it feels way back), Netflix and Disney struck a deal for all of Disney’s movies — including Marvel, Pixar and Lucasfilm — to stream exclusively on Netflix Instant. According to the terms of their agreement, the deal wouldn’t kick in until 2016, which just so happens to be the year in which we are currently living. As announced today, Netflix will officially begin streaming Disney films in September, but that doesn’t mean the studio’s entire library will magically appear in your Instant browser.
Are You Ready For a ‘Benji’ Reboot? Good, Because You’re Getting One
If studio developments in recent years have taught us anything, it’s to expect the unexpected when it comes to reboots and adaptations. From upcoming movies based on video games like Centipede and Tetris to the Jumanji reboot, it’s as if studios are plucking titles from the Least Likely pile (where is my Easy Bake Oven movie already?). The latest movie to get the unexpected reboot treatment is Benji — you know, the feel-good doggy adventure movie from 1974, which many of you probably remember best from its near-constant presence on The Disney Channel in the ’80s and early ’90s.
Jennifer Lawrence Will Return For More ‘X-Men’…Under One Condition
Jennifer Lawrence isn’t contracted for another X-Men sequel, but back in March she seemed pretty happy about the possibility of returning for more films. It’s been two months since then, and while Lawrence appears to be a little less eager about it now, she says that she’ll reprise the role of Raven…there’s just one thing that has to happen. Or maybe two.

Atari’s ‘Missile Command’ and ‘Centipede’ Will Also Become Movies
As far as source material goes, classic Atari games would be categorized under “things least likely to inspire a movie,” along with objects like vacuum cleaners and steel beams. But the power of nostalgia is strong, and Hollywood is quite fond of taking unlikely properties from your childhood and turning them into movies — like Battleship and Trolls. So it shouldn’t come as a surprise that Atari’s Missile Command and Centipede games are heading to the big screen.
