Cedar Falls Police Make Arrest AMVETS Burglary Investigation.

Todd Benedict Losh, 52, of 201 Main Street, Morley, Iowa, was arrested in Cedar Rapids on September 2nd on four warrants related to the August 9th burglary of the Cedar Falls AMVETS post. Losh was identified by neighbors, Jones County law enforcement, and former co-workers after surveillance photos related to the burglary were distributed by the media and Crime Stoppers on August 27th.

A search warrant was conducted on his Morley residence on August 28th by Cedar Falls Police Investigators and Jones County Sheriff’s Deputies. Four arrest warrants were issued by a Black Hawk County Judge on September 1st; and those warrants were served on Losh by the Cedar Rapids Police Department on September 2nd.

Losh has been charged with:

  • Burglary 3rd degree (Class D felony) 2 counts
  • Theft in the 2nd degree (Class D felony)
  • Criminal Mischief 2nd degree (Class D felony)

Losh is currently on probation in Linn County for previous burglaries. He is being held at the Black Hawk County Jail on a $25,000.00 bond.
