Army Vet Saves The Life Of A Young Bald Eagle On The 4th Of July

Many stories come out after the 4th of July weekend. Some stories are heartwarming and some are scary. This story about an Army Vet saving "Freedom", a young bald eagle, on our Nations birthday is hands down one of the coolest stories of 2016.

According to KARE-TV CBS Minnesota, Army Vet Jason Galvin and his wife Jackie discovered the eagle tangled in a rope hanging from a tree 75 feet off the ground. The Galvin's reported the bird to local authorities but were told that they couldn't help. That's when Jason Galvin, who did two different tours in Afghanistan, took matters into his own hands.
