After a lengthy investigation, which began in February, Fayette County authorities have charged an area man for allegedly stealing from a construction company.

Back on February 14th of this year, the Fayette County Sheriff took a report of a theft from Bryan Construction, in which items were taken from a location in rural Oelwein.

On September 20th, the sheriff got a tip that the stolen items were taken to an area recycling business, where they were sold for cash.

As a result of the investigation, 40 year old Jeremiah Junior Larson of Oelwein is being charged with Theft-4th Degree, which is a serious misdemeanor.

An area woman, wanted on 2 Fayette County warrants, has turned herself in. 37 year old Katherine Upton of Fort Atkinson surrendered to authorities on Thursday (Nov. 9). Upton was wanted on warrants for failure to appear/contempt of court. She was held on $2,000 cash bond.
