Authorities are looking for the cause of a barn fire in Frederika.

Firefighters were called out shortly after 8:30 Monday night to a barn that was reported on fire within the city limits of Frederika.

Firecrews found the building fully engulfed. The barn and it's contents, which included a pickup, were a total loss. No injuries were reported.

The name of the owner was not released.

The Frederika Fire Department was assisted by the Tripoli Fire Department, Frederika First Responders, Tripoli Ambulance service, Bremer County Sheriff, Bremer County CERT, and Bremer County Emergency Management.

Last month, the Frederika Fire Department battled a major blaze in the downtown area, when the Bottomz Up Bar and Grill burned to the ground. They were assisted by five other fire departments. No one was injured in that fire, either.

According to Kip Ladage, the coordinator for Bremer County Emergency Management, a cause of that fire has not been determined. Authorities were waiting for an insurance company to complete it's investigation before cleaning up the scene.
