Waterloo Police are investigating overnight shootings that put three people in the hospital.

Around midnight, officers were called to Honeycomb's Hideaway on West 5th Street after area residents heard gunshots in the vicinity.

Responding police found Keyon Garner and Fatimah Calhoun with gunshot wounds to the legs. Both were taken to Covenant Medical Center for treatment of what officials called non-life-threatening injuries.

Another gunshot victim, Robert Luckie, arrived at Unity Point-Allen Memorial Hospital about an hour later with a wound to one of his legs.

Investigating officers found a couple of vehicles damaged by gunfire on Allen Street, and recovered some 9mm shell casings close by.
