3 Arrested after traffic stop
Three Waterloo men were arrested on various charges after a traffic stop conducted by the Black Hawk County Sheriff's Department.
Sheriff's Deputies initiated a traffic stop Thursday mornings (1/30) and discovered methamphetamine and marijuana. The discovery of drugs led to a search warrant being executed at 948 Kern Street in Waterloo. As a result, 3 Waterloo men were arrested on various charges.
Jason Brunning (31) of Waterloo was charged with Theft (Possession of Stolen Property), Trafficking Stolen Weapons, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Methamphetamine.
Justin Schmitt (32) of Waterloo was charged with Theft (Possession of Stolen Property), Possession of a Firearm as a Felon, Trafficking Stolen Weapons, Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Deliver, Possession of Methamphetamine, and Child Endangerment.
Timothy Grote (43) of Waterloo was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Deliver.
